The Faculty of Technology has been the organizer and participant of different activities in cooperation with the industrial sector, in particular those concerning various projects, starting from designing plants and new technologies, offering solutions for different problems in industrial practice to improving the existing technologies and technological processes. The Faculty has the following licenses:
- License for water quality analysis (class II)
- License for environmental impact assessment.
A number of employees have individual project design licenses. So far the Faculty has completed over 350 projects and elaborates for the industrial sector in the Republic of Srpska and the neighboring countries. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Srpska awarded the Faculty as the most successful higher education institution in the field of cooperation with industry in 2012, whereas in 2013 the Faculty was awarded the best research institution in the Republic of Srpska by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
